Digital signage integrations
ScreenTinker works with the tools your organization already uses: Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, Canva, Zapier, Slack and Teams. Most connect with your own app or account, so your admins stay in control of what each one can reach.
Bring your own app
Integrations run on your accounts, not ours. Folder sync uses your own Microsoft Entra app, BI dashboards your own Power BI app, Tableau connected app or Grafana token, Canva your own Canva integration, and social walls your own tokens. They are stored encrypted on the ScreenTinker server, never shown again after saving, and never sent to a screen. Screens get only what they need to show the content.
Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
- Microsoft 365. PowerPoint, Word and Excel files on screens, and SharePoint or OneDrive folders synced into playlists.
- Google Slides, Docs and Sheets. Decks that advance and loop, and Docs and Sheets that reload on their own. Sheets also work as live data sources.
- Meeting rooms. Room displays from Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace calendars, with booking from the panel.
BI dashboards
- Power BI. Private reports with your own service principal, rotating pages, or Publish to web for public data.
- Tableau. Tableau Cloud, Tableau Server or Tableau Public views, rotating sheets.
- Grafana. Server-rendered dashboard images that stay up when Grafana is down.
Design
- Canva. Import designs as images or video, and keep them in sync when the design changes.
- Templates. Ready-made menu boards, room signs, KPI dashboards and more, from a signed catalog.
Automation and alerts
- Zapier, Make and n8n. Raise alerts, switch playlists and update tables from other systems, and react when a screen goes offline. Hooks need no token.
- Slack, Teams and PagerDuty. Get told when a screen goes offline and when it comes back, by email or signed webhook too.
- Emergency alerts. CAP feeds from the US National Weather Service and MeteoAlarm, Alertus, Singlewire InformaCast, or your own fire panel, cutting in on every screen at once.
- AI assistants (MCP). Manage screens from Claude or any MCP client.
Social walls
- Social media walls. Posts from Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, Bluesky and Mastodon, with moderation: approve each post first, or hide posts by blocked words.
Media and live data
- YouTube. A video, a playlist or a live stream, with autoplay and loop handled for you.
- RSS. Headlines from any feed, rotating on screen or as a ticker.
- Weather. Current conditions and forecast for any location, and playlist items that play only in certain weather.
- Live data. Google Sheets, any REST/JSON API, CSV, calendars or a table you type in, with values placed on slides as tags.
Embed anything with the Webpage widget
The Webpage widget shows any public web page that allows itself to be framed. If a service can publish a public link, you can usually put it on a display with no dedicated integration. Internal dashboards work too, on an address your screens can reach.
Honest caveat: sites that send X-Frame-Options or a frame-ancestors policy that denies embedding cannot be shown in the Webpage widget. Use each service’s official “publish to web” or “embed” address, not its normal share or edit address.
FAQ
Can ScreenTinker integrate with a specific app?
If it is listed above, use that integration. Otherwise, if the app can produce a public embed or publish-to-web address that allows framing, add a Webpage widget and paste it. For anything that can send an HTTP request, a hook or the API can change what screens show.
Do I need a paid plan to use integrations?
No. Plans differ by the number of screens and the storage, not by which integrations you can use. Most integrations do need your own account or app on the other side, such as an Entra app, a Power BI capacity, a Canva integration or a social network token.
Are our credentials sent to the screens?
No. App secrets and tokens are stored encrypted on the ScreenTinker server and never shown again. Screens receive only what they need, such as a rendered image or a short-lived, view-only token.
What is the difference between a native integration and the Webpage widget?
A native integration is configured in the dashboard and handles sign-in, timing and refresh for you. The Webpage widget is a general frame that can show almost any public page, but only if that page allows framing.
